Trico Centre offers a licensed Out of School Care program for children in Grades 1 to 6, providing a safe, enriching environment where fun and learning go hand in hand.
Our program warmly welcomes students from these schools: David Thompson, FFCA Southeast Elementary, FFCA Southeast Middle School, Maple Ridge, Sam Livingston, RT Alderman, and Willow Park. To make your day even easier, we provide safe and reliable transportation on the Trico Centre bus — making the trip to and from our program smooth and stress-free.

Our program features:
Age-Appropriate Spaces & Activities: Children are grouped by grade and school, with access to a variety of engaging spaces designed to meet their unique developmental needs.
Daily Physical Activity: We prioritize movement every day, helping children build their physical literacy and fundamental movement skills through fun, active play.
Creative & Curious Minds: Daily craft, drama, and STEM stations encourage creativity, self-expression, and critical thinking.
Exciting Field Trips: With our very own 72-passenger bus, we regularly venture out to explore the amazing communities and attractions our city has to offer.
Full Access to Trico Centre: From swimming and skating to gym time and more, children enjoy all the perks of our recreation facility as part of their daily experience.

I love Trico OSC. My daughter has been in the program for almost 2 years. I have always enjoyed the level of care and activities they present. It’s a testament to how much fun it is, when from day one, my child berates me if I pick her up too early. She loves every activity presented too her. I have had to adjust my pick up schedule so that she can maximize her time, and she doesn’t get mad at me for picking her up too early. Excellent staff keep the children active and busy with different tasks. You and your child(ren) will not be disappointed with Trico OSC.
I really can’t say enough about Trico Out of School Care, we have been with them for 3 years and my kids don’t want to come home at the end of the day. The staff have always been excellent, they are caring, professional, kind and fun, they listen to the kids with respect and caring and are engaged with them.
There are well organized age activities, and the staff try to do as many fun things as possible, they let the kids be adventurous, messy and let them experiment and discover.
Trico OSC has done a really great job with the older kids, the Grades 5-6, they keep them engaged, safe, entertained but don’t treat them like the younger kids and they have hit a great balance with this difficult age.
The staff really are incredible, I feel welcome when I drop off and pick up my kids, my children feel safe and respected by the staff, conflicts get sorted quickly and compassionately. Communication about activities, events, and general news is excellent. Trico OSC has well organized and orchestrated safety measures regarding numbers, supervision and activities. They have a good balance between structure, free play, and organized activities.
My children’s favourite things about Trico in their words are the gym, the toys and the leaders. My older child loves the Innovators and their special room and treatment.
Trico has been a blessing through the pandemic, making the kids feel safe and parents feel comfortable about where their kids are and how they are being treated, Trico has communicated well through everything and I would really be lost without them.

The OSC team has been absolutely fantastic. My son Harrison, started on Oct 1st and I am just blown away by the team. They are just incredible, kind, thoughtful people and they have just really made whole experience wonderful. This shouldn’t be a surprise to me as I know very well, the high standards and passion that the leadership team has at Trico. That said, it is so appreciated, to have had a quick registration and transition for my son. He has done many programs over the years at Trico and I always I know that he is safe and well cared for.
The OSC team is on another level of awesome. Nothing specific, but I just notice a lot of small details and it just demonstrates how they all go that extra bit in every thing they do.
