Trico Centre has a wonderful Aquatics Facility which includes a wave pool, steam rooms, and hot tub. The aquatics area was recently refurbished with a soft-walk cushioned Myrtha pool liner, brand new hot tub, acoustic ceiling clouds, energy-efficient LED lighting, and new sound system.
In 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2018, the Lifesaving Society awarded Trico Centre’s Aquatics Department with the Anne Resek Swim for Life Award for being the one-pool indoor facility that conducted the most Swim for Life swimming lessons in a calendar year.
Trico Centre swim lessons follow the internationally acclaimed Lifesaving Society Swim for Life Program. The program starts by teaching fundamental swimming skills that encourage students to make safe choices in and around water, and continually challenges swimmers to learn more.
Trico Centre offers different public swim opportunities including Parent and Tot, Senior Swim, Super Soaker, Family Swim and more. All participants wanting access to the pool deck must be a paying participant. Members can reserve their spot up to 6 days in advance!
Explore the benefits of deep water aqua with total body workouts that use varying tempos, hand positions and ranges of motion to modify movement intensity. Improve your mobility, flexibility, cardiovascular fitness, and endurance. Trico Centre offers total body workouts throughout the week.
If you are 13 years and older, have completed your Bronze Star or higher, enjoy being in the water, and like to make new friends, you have the opportunity to volunteer with Trico Aquatics Department and to be part of our great team.
