From June 1 to June 30, 2026, new members who join Trico Centre won’t pay a thing until July 1st. That’s right – your June membership is completely free.
Aquatics Centre Closure: please note that our pool and hot tub will be closed from June 22 – July 5 for annual maintenance. Thank you for your understanding.
Help us keep Trico Centre’s pools clean, safe, and open for everyone.
Pool contaminations can lead to temporary closures, lesson delays, and required cleaning procedures before swimmers can return. Many closures are preventable, and families play an important role in helping lessons run smoothly.
Please help prevent pool closures by following these steps before entering the pool or hot tub:
Aqua diapers and plastic pants are available for purchase at Guest Services.

Swim diapers and plastic pants are mandatory for children who are not yet toilet trained.
Regular diapers are not permitted in the pool because they are not designed for swimming. Aqua diapers and plastic pants help reduce the risk of contamination and support a cleaner swimming environment for everyone.
If a contamination occurs, please follow staff direction right away.
If you arrive for lessons and the pool gates are closed due to a contamination, please do not leave the facility right away. Check in with Guest Services for the most up-to-date information. In accordance with Alberta Health pool standards, water treatment and reopening times may vary. Some lessons may still run if the pool reopens during the scheduled class time.
Reopening times depend on the required cleaning and water safety procedures. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these closures.
Pool contaminations may cause lessons to be delayed, shortened, or cancelled.
If a class loses more than half of its scheduled lesson time due to a contamination closure, a credit will be applied within 3 to 5 business days.
A single contamination can affect many swimmers, families, programs, and staff. By showering before swimming, taking washroom breaks, using proper aqua diapers and plastic pants, and staying home when sick, you help keep Trico Centre’s pools open for everyone.
