Parent & Tot Programs

16 Months – 3 Years Old

Our Parent & Tot classes are a wonderful introduction to structured classroom experiences! Together we explore, and learn independence to become ready for un-parented classes in the future. The more you engage and interact in the class, the more your tot will want to participate and have fun too! Our classes are taught with parent education in mind. Many activities will be taught in a way that makes it easy for you and your tot to play at home!

Registered Parent & Tot Programs

Mini-Movers (2-3 yrs)

This active program will encourage running, jumping, throwing, and kicking through games, sports, and open play. The perfect class for busy toddlers!

Sportball Multi-Sport (2-3 yrs)

Sportball Parent & Child programs help preschoolers to refine their motor skills, such as balance and coordination, as well as develop their social skills such as confidence, following instructions, turn-taking and sharing. Coaches introduce a different sport each class using developmentally appropriate games and activities.

Music and Movement (2-3yrs)

This parented class is an amazing way to introduce your child to music, movement, and the classroom environment! Parents accompany their little ones which makes this class the perfect opportunity to develop skills comfortably and confidently alongside their caregiver.

Messy Hands (3-4 yrs)

With caregiver support, little ones will engage in hands-on fun through exploration and play. Arts, crafts, and tactile sensory experiences will ignite their creative expression and curiosity.

Fine Motor Fun

With facilitator guidance, child and caregiver play with fine motor manipulatives and practice hand strengthening exercises. Fine motor practice helps with buttoning, zippering, drawing, and brushing teeth. This targeted program helps build confidence and independence!

Explorers (2.5-3 yrs)

During this 2-hour parented program, our Facilitator guides the group through circle time, story, songs, centers, and teaching early life skills. Caregivers actively participate while supporting their child’s development (i.e., emotional regulation, separation strategies, social skills, bathroom routines). ‘Explorers’ offers a smooth transition into the preschool environment – a perfect bridge into our unparented programs (First Steps, Trico Kids Klub).
