LEADERSHIP IN TRAINING EXPANSION

Empowering the Next Generation of Community Leaders

Through our partnership with Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink, Trico Centre is expanding opportunities for youth to grow into confident leaders. Donations made through this program directly support the expansion of our Leadership in Training (LIT) program, empowering teens ages 13–17 with the mentorship, skills, and real-world experience they need to lead in recreation programs, workplaces, and their communities. With matching opportunities that can increase your gift by up to 50%, every contribution helps shape the next generation of community leaders.

What the expanded program will offer

  • Leadership Workshops
Communication, teamwork, facilitation skills, and conflict resolution.
  • Well-Being & Resilience Training
Self-confidence development, stress management, and mental wellness.
  • Mentorship Circles
Peer and staff mentorship focused on personal growth and leadership development.
  • Hands-On Leadership Experience
Participants assist with children’s programs, gaining real-world leadership practice.
  • Community Engagement Projects
