Trico Centre for Family Wellness has proudly served the Calgary community for over 40 years as a non-profit, community-operated facility dedicated to healthy living for all ages and abilities. Rooted in collaboration and inclusivity, Trico Centre is committed to providing accessible wellness, recreation, and family-focused programming.

Our Board of Directors plays a vital role in guiding the organization’s strategic direction, ensuring long-term sustainability, and championing community engagement. We are currently seeking passionate, community-minded individuals to join the Board as Directors-at-Large – bringing their unique perspectives and skills to help shape the future of Trico Centre.

Nomination Period: April 6th – April 30th, 2026 (11:59pm)
Screening Completed & Nominations Announced: May 2nd, 2026
Elections: May 21st, 2026, 8:00pm – 9:00pm
Results Announced: May 21st, 2026, 9:00pm

    Are you currently residing in any of the Calgary communities that are community partners with Trico Centre? Have you been on Trico Centre board anytime during last 10 years? Share two unique qualities or perspectives you would bring that will contribute to advancing the association’s strategic priorities.
    We are a true governance board and are looking for board-ready candidates to join our Board. Share with us your governance or board experience that you would bring to our board.
    If elected as a  Director at Large, are you interested any of the positions below? Do you have any other limitations to perform your duties to the full extent as a Director at Large? In your opinion, what are the top three opportunities and challenges for Trico Centre over the next 3–5 years, and the role Trico Centre can play in addressing them?
    What ways do you believe Trico Centre can elevate its credibility amongst business leaders, other community organizations, bureaucrats, and policy makers?
    If you had to speak with our membership directly, how would you explain your own unique value proposition as a board director?
