Get ready for a summer packed with excitement, adventure, and unforgettable memories! At Trico Centre, our vibrant and inclusive day camps offer quality activities, new friendships, and plenty of laughter. Led by our awesome team of trained leaders, every camper will enjoy a summer to remember!

2025 Camp Registration

• Camp details available online: February 6, 2025
• Member registration opens: March 4 at 6:00 AM
• Public registration opens: March 6 at 6:00 AM
• If a camp is full, please place your child on a waitlist. You will be contacted if a space becomes available.

• Children and youth who benefit from 1-on-1 support are encouraged to attend with an approved aide.

Preschool Weekly Day Camps (Ages 3.5–5.5)

Dates: Between July 7 – August 22, 2025

• Choose AM (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM) or PM (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
• Low camp ratio (1:8)
• Child must be fully potty trained or have 1-on-1 aide/caregiver support
• Note: Lunch care is not provided

Child/Youth Weekly Day Camps (Ages 5–14)

Dates: Between July 7 – August 22, 2025

• Camps run from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Low camp ratio (1:15)
• Before and after care included at no additional cost:
  • Before care: 7:30–9:00 AM
  • After care: 4:00–5:30 PM

Daily Day Camps (Ages 6–12)

Dates: Between July 2 – August 29, 2025

• Flexible daily registration available
• Pre-register online to secure your spot – space is limited!
• Camps run from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Before and after care included at no additional cost:
  • Before care: 7:30–9:00 AM
  • After care: 4:00–5:30 PM
• Note: During the final week (August 25–29), camps will run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with adjusted before and after care hours: 8:30–9:00 AM and 4:00–4:30 PM.

Day Camp Leader in Training (LIT) Program (Ages 13-17 )

Registration opens March 4th at 6:00am for members, March 6th for non-members.

Trico Centre’s Leader in Training (LIT) Program is designed for youth ages 13-17 looking to develop leadership skills and gain hands-on experience in a camp setting. This program is ideal for teens who have aged out as campers but are not yet eligible to apply for day camp leader positions.

Registration includes:

(Trico member discounts do not apply.)

Registration Options

Caregivers select a 2-week session for their child. Youth may register for multiple sessions but are only required to attend one training day.

$125.00 / session

• Option 1: July 7-11 & July 14-18

July Mandatory LIT Training: Wednesday, July 2 (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)

August LIT Sessions

• Option 4: July 28-August 1 & August 5-8
• Option 5: August 5-8 & August 11-15
• Option 6: August 11-15 & August 18-22

August LIT Mandatory Training: Thursday, July 3 (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)

Ideal Candidate Skills

✔ Previous leadership experience (e.g., school clubs, sports teams, community organizations) is an asset.
✔ Reliable, responsible, and committed to scheduled dates/times.
✔ Patient, positive, and supportive when working with others.
✔ Passionate about working with children and creating a fun, engaging camp environment.

Day Camp Cancellation Policy:

PROGRAM TRANSFER:

Requests to transfer to another camp will be subject to availability (no fees apply). Transfers resulting in a higher fee must be paid at time of transfer. If a transfer results in a lower fee, a CREDIT will be applied to your Trico Centre account.

PROGRAM WITHDRAWAL:

* Six days or more PRIOR to a camp start date: Withdrawal requests will be processed less a $30.00 fee per activity with the program fee applied to your Trico Centre account. Refunds may be processed on request.
* Less than six days or after a camp start date: No credits or refunds will be permitted.
* Medical withdrawal: A credit will be applied to your Trico Centre account. A doctor’s note must be provided within two weeks of request.

NOTE: Credits in your Trico Centre account may be used toward any service at Trico Centre and expire one year after issue date.
