Trico Centre is very proud to have Southcentre Mall as one of its Gold sponsors for its Summer Kickoff event on Saturday, June 3rd! Southcentre is one of Calgary’s largest shopping malls, with more than 160 stores and services spanning over a million square feet. Next year, the mall will be celebrating its 50th anniversary as one of the city’s favorite shopping destinations.
Southcentre is a proud member of the Calgary community and aims to partner with like-minded organizations, while seeking every opportunity to support local initiatives, entrepreneurs, and art. In addition to working with Trico Centre on various events over the year like the 12 Days of Christmas and the 40-Day Fitness Challenge, Southcentre also hosts a wide array of charitable and fundraising activities throughout the year. In recent months, they have hosted fundraising campaigns in support of humanitarian efforts in Ukraine, partnered with Autism Calgary for Easter-themed fun and games, and deployed the Giving Machine which allowed people to donate directly to their favourite local and global charities. In 2022 alone, Southcentre hosted over 20 charities, and raised over one million dollars across all of their charitable initiatives.
