Trico Centre for Family Wellness is one of the charities supported by this year’s 2024 Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink. This program is designed to help raise new funds for local charities, engage the community in the Rogers Charity Classic golf tournament held every August, and provide matching funds for each charity involved.
In 2023, the Classic raised over $18.7 million dollars for 273 children and youth-oriented charities across Alberta through the (then) Shaw Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink program. Since 2013, this program has raised over $112 million. All administrative costs and efforts for the program including website administration, credit card fees, and invoicing are covered by the Rogers Charity Classic tournament, meaning that 100% of all funds donated through the program go directly to the charities. For every contribution to every charity made until August 31st, including those made to Trico Centre, the donation will be matched up to 50% through Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink.
