Sunday School – Cycling 2.0
This rotating series of classes gives you the basics on set-up, teaches you the proper technique, and introduces common drills and concepts to help join Calgary’s largest drop-in group exercise program.
1st week: Cycling- After setting up your bike, learn hills and sprints and the best way not to get too butt hurt (or saddle sore).
2nd week: Rowing- Our class starts with the proper stroke. After, power and speed play mixed some team drills is the focus.
3rd week: Cycling 2.0- learn how to use the computer and associated metrics to the highest potential. FTP (Functional Threshold of Power) test or retest every class.
4th week: Beginner Bootcamp- Safe lifting, proper forms and kinesthetics are taught for many different strength exercises
All fitness level welcome.
Group Fitness Policies
All patrons must reserve their spot starting at noon, 5 days in advance, up to 1 hour before the activity begins.
You must check-in with Guest Services when you arrive for class. If you have not checked in 10 minutes before class, drop-ins will be admitted in your absence.
NO SHOW POLICY: Members will lose their pre-booking privileges for 3 no-shows in a 3-month period.
STUDIO ACCESS: Studio access will be limited to 15 minutes prior to class for all classes.
CANCELLATION: If you are unable to attend, please ensure you cancel your spot. Cancellations must be done at least 6 hours prior to class start time (via confirmation email link OR user dashboard). *Phone call reservations/cancellations will not be accepted.
