Vote NOW for Trico Centre in the 2022 Field Law Community Fund Program

The Field Law Community Fund Program has awarded almost $685,000 over the last nine years to support 115 individuals, organizations and charitable initiatives throughout Alberta and the Northwest Territories. This year, Trico Centre has been recognized by the Program, and is eligible to receive funding for its Skill Builder Program for children ages 5-14 years old.

Our mission to to offer children and youth:

  • The opportunity to build confidence, feel heard, and be cared for
  • Exposure to an activity or area of interest
  • Support strategies based on individual needs and abilities
  • Extra time to develop skills that have been personally challenging
  • Guidance to break tasks into smaller, more achievable steps

The Skill Builder program offers sessions in Executive Functioning, Leadership, Self-Regulation, Fine Motor, Gross Motor, Social Skills, and more. With the funding we hope to receive from the Program in 2023, we will offer financial assistance to families, and purchase foundational program resources.

By voting for us on the Field Law Community Fund Program page, you are demonstrating your support for the children and youth in our community that can and will benefit from our Skill Builder programming. The voting period is open now, and closes on November 10, 2022. The winners will be selected on December 7, 2022.
