Suitable for all levels, this class provides a vigorous workout designed to keep your heart pumping and a smile on your face!  A variety of techniques, including muscle conditioning and steady state as well as interval training will be used to improve your endurance and strengthen your core.

Yoga Foundations

A class emphasizing longer, static holds and more depth in each asana.  You'll be guided through a combination of standing, seated and lying postures that will challenge balance, strength and flexibility.  Please bring your own yoga mat.  Some props (no bolsters) will be provided.  Please arrive at least 10 minutes before class begins as doors will be locked promptly at 10:30am.

Balance Builders (Registered)

1:30pm to 2:15pm

In partnership with Alberta Health Services, this program is designed to help you prevent falls, improve balance, stay strong and maintain independence. The exercises focus on core stability, balance and gait, muscle strengthening, flexibility and endurance. This program is for adults 65 years of age and over. Participants are assessed and monitored. Participants must attend at least 75% or 6 out of 8 classes per month. Please call 403-225-5561 to register.

 
 

Cycle & Barre

5:00pm to 6:00pm

Half cycling with hills and intervals for endurance and cardio, followed by Barre plies and pulses for length and strength.
