Our open gymnasium time provides a designated space for people of all ages to experience recreation and fitness on their own terms. Bring your own equipment and practice your movement of choice (e.g. dance, fitness, skipping, etc.). No nets will be available, but you’re welcomed to practice your sport without them (e.g. soccer, basketball, floor hockey, etc.). Youth 12 years and younger MUST be accompanied by a guardian (16+).

Children (walking to 6 years old) can enjoy playing with a variety of equipment. It does require parent participation and there will be a Trico facilitator present to encourage play and ensure the safety of participants. Maximum 40 participants (including guardians).
Food & beverages are not permitted in the gym and please wear non-marking soled shoes. Spectators are not permitted in the gym, but can view from the upper level by the multi-purpose rooms.

Not affiliated with Skate Canada, figure skaters can enjoy an additional ice time to practice skills, jumps, and spins. This is not an ice time for beginner skaters. Skaters must be at least 9 years old and any skater under 14 years must have adult supervision in the arena at all times. Coaching is permitted and coaches must be registered as a paid participant and must be Skate Canada Certified (You may be asked to show your credentials). Please respect the flow of the ice as would at your home club. Maximum 15 skaters per session.

*NEW* Sensory Swim time is set to provide a more relaxed and quiet pool environment for those with hyper sensory needs.
No waves or rain curtain will be happening over this time. The rope swing will remain open.
No music will be playing over this time and whistles will not be used to clear the pool, only in emergency situations will they be used.

Come during one of our drop-in basketball sessions for a chance to shoot around with friends or practice skills. These sessions are unstructured and open to all levels of players. Scrimmaging is permitted. Formal instruction, pylons, or related items are not permitted. Players must be 16+years. Please wear shoes with non-marking soles. Limited number of basketballs available to borrow.

Bring the entire family out for a skate! Helmets are mandatory for anyone under 12 years old and highly recommended for all ages. We highly recommend using a ski or hockey helmet over a bike helmet, since they are not made for ice. No sticks, pucks, chairs, or strollers permitted. Everyone on the ice must be in skates or ice cleats. Skater assists are permitted but not supplied. Teaching private lessons is not allowed. And all children under 12 years must be accompanied on ice by guardian that is 16+ years. Maximum 60 skaters per session.
