Trico Centre offers endless options for fitness classes - spin, strength training, yoga, pilates, barre and more! 

 

We are currently offering:

Dryland Fitness Classes

Pure Strength

Full body, higher load strength training to improve strength, stability, mobility and endurance.  An athletic dynamic warmup prepares you to work hard!


Total Body Blast

Enjoy a full body workout including core and cardio components each class.  Each class will offer a variety of equipment and training formats including tabatas, intervals, circuits and more.


Full Throttle (Family Friendly)

Inspired by CrossFit.  This high intensity class with high impact elements varies its weekly focus between speed, strength and aerobic intervals.  Although taxing, modifications are provided to suit appropriate body mechanics.  Great for anyone! 


Cardio Sculpt

This class blends cardiovascular training with weight training and flexibility to get you on your way to a stronger, leaner body and a healthier state of mind.


Fit Body Workout (Family Friendly)

Compound movement patterns designed to improve your overall strength, muscular endurance, body composition and flexibility.


Cardio Core

Kick off your day the right way!  This class is instructor's choice, but you can count on some form of cardio, whether cycling, kettlebells, skipping rope or plyometrics... and a core-centric blast.  Suitable for beginners as well as seasoned exercisers.


Barbell Sculpt

Build muscle and boost your metabolism!  This thorough, hour-long, full-body workout uses mainly barbells and barbells to challenge and strengthen all fitness levels.


Power Hour

Train like an athlete and get ready to push your body to the limit!  Power Hour is a challenging, fast-paced, full-body circuit training class.  This is an advanced class, but exercises can be modified to meet your fitness level.


HIIT Variety (Family Friendly)

Burn calories, boost metabolism and get in touch with your inner athlete!  Quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods.


Step 'n Pump

Build aerobic endurance and core strength in this challenging and motivating class.  The intensity of your workout will be determined by the speed, travel, and execution of your movements.  Burn calories and have doing it!


Zumba (Family Friendly)

Motivating, high-energy music and unique moves in a fun atmosphere.


Motiv8

Keep your heart-rate pumping through an exhilarating timed-interval workout.  Work at your own pace to get lean and strengthen targeted muscle groups.


Barbell Sculpt

Build muscle and boost your metabolism!  This thorough, hour-long, full-body workout uses mainly barbells and barbells to challenge and strengthen all fitness levels.

 

Older Adult Dryland Fitness Classes

Gentle Fit

An active, social class designed to to enhance your cardiovascular/respiratory systems, improve bone density and develop your balance.  This class uses chairs rather than mats for many strengthening/stretching exercises.


Fit 'n Fab

A gentle aerobic and muscle conditioning class designed with the older adult in mind.  Improve balance, aerobic endurance, flexibility and muscle tone.

SPINtensity

An effective way to build cardio endurance, burn calories and have fun!  Interval training and cadence control are tools riders will learn along the way.


Bike 'n Barre (Family Friendly)

We put it all together for you in this class fusing the cardio and strength benefits of cycling with the flexibility, focus and core work of a barre class.


Iron Ride (Family Friendly)

Ride from the shoreline to the hills in this journey designed to provide you with both optimum fat burning and strength building.  This ride will simulate varied terrain as you tackle rolling hills, sprints and other drills to give you a great interval workout.  Suitable for beginners as well as seasoned cyclists!


Spin n' Stretch (Family Friendly)

Mind / Body Classes

Hatha Yoga

A class emphasizing longer, static holds and more depth in each asana.  You'll be guided through a combination of standing, seated and lying postures that will challenge balance, strength and flexibility.


Yin / Restore

Long, gentle holds focusing on supporting the connective tissue and joints while opening the hips, back, and shoulders.  Supported poses using props such as bolsters, blocks and blankets allow the body to relax, open and renew. 


Pilates

A thorough body conditioning class that helps build flexibility and lean muscle while focusing on spinal and pelvic alignment.  Suitable for all levels.


Yoga Foundations (Family Friendly)

A class emphasizing longer, static holds and more depth in each asana.  You'll be guided through a combination of standing, seated and lying postures that will challenge balance, strength and flexibility.


Yoga Strong

This class provides the perfect balance between yoga poses designed to build strength and stability and long holds designed to lengthen and restore the strengthened musculature.
